Some people cherish adventures and journeys to new places. Probably I am one of them. Being a teenager my love for science and experiments boosted my interest even to travel and make the journey to new places.
At that time I was studying science at higher secondary school at Upendra National Academy when I learned of rumors about the incident where twelve fishermen, five woodcutters, and three photographers lost their lives at the mysterious place called Alexona at Chirang district in Assam. Certain places on the earth are mysterious. Alexona is one of them.
Rumors have spread that there is some sort of strange creatures that kill the community at Alexona. Alexona was inhabited by the community. Due to terror created by those bizarre creatures, the community has now abandoned Alexona. Recently a local newspaper has published about the incident where twelve fishermen were lost in Alexona. Alexona is a synonym for mysteries among local people.
A few weeks ago, a phone call rang. It was from the District Officer. I was summoned to appear in a meeting. The meeting concluded that a team for investigation would be sent to Alexona. Among the team, I was one of them.
Being the sort of person who loves traveling and investigates I felt I was honored to be among the team.
We were nine in our team. A doctor whose name was John Mox was the head of our team. I was assigned as a junior for the team. Mark Hark, a distinguished investigator was among the team. Besides this, a journalist name Mickey, a police officer Mike Luke, along with four personal cops were sent in for assistance for this investigation. We were scheduled to send for Alexona the next day.
