Many years ago, there was a young man name Adil who live in a small cottage with his mother and a younger brother in a place called Alexona near the Himalayas mountain. His father died when he was still a young boy. As a result, all the obligation of his family was placed upon him. He goes to the forest every day. He cut fired wood and sell it. Thus through tough endeavor, he has to look after his aged mother and brother.
One day, as occasionally he went into the forest near the Himalayas. He went deeper into the forest and was lost. He tried his best to find out the way out but in vain. Being exhausted he sat under a tree. When he looked up he saw that the tree has several ripe fruits. He decided to plug the fruits in as many as he can. He was so happy that he could now take for his old mother and a brother in addition.
Soon it was gloomy by now. And he has to spend the night in the forest. He took the fruits and look for a suitable site to spend the night there. After a long search, he found a grassy place where he could spend the night. He was too hungry by now. He took out some of the fruits and ate them. Soon he felt sleepy and fell into a deep sleep and never open his eye furthermore.
His family has been waiting for long hours by now. Days passed by, months passed by and years passed by. After ten years his brother starts to look for his brother in the same woodland.
On a typical day, he set for a journey to look for his brother in the woodland. His mother packed a bag of food for his voyage. He starts the journey. He rummages all day long. He was tired and sat under a tree. Ten years ago his elder brother sat under the same tree. The younger brother too saw numerous mature fruits. He plugs one to fill his belly but before he extends his hand to put the fruit into his mouth he heard a voice saying," Brother, that was the same fruit that poisoned me". Halted by the voice he was terrified. And ask," What, who is there?". The same voice replied," I am your brother Adil, come here".
The brother went looking for his elder brother. He saw his brother in a nearby grassy land where his brother was covered with grasses and flowers. He was laying on the ground all covered with grasses. The birds were building a nest on his carcass. He was advised by his elder brother to return home immediately. His lifeless brother told him to take the fruit, a flower, and grass from his body to their cottage and burn them to ash. In addition, he was told that the ash should be thrown in the nearby stream, the flower should be planted in the middle of their backyard and his brother will return to life.
He hurried toward their cottage with a flower, a fruit, and grass. As instructed by his vanished brother he burnt the fruit and the grasses. They were completely turned into ashes. He took the ashes and threw them in the river. He also planted the flower right in the middle of their backyard. Soon the flower grew large but his vanished brother didn't return to life yet. They waited days after days.
After five days a beggar came to their cottage. He was all full of hair and his clothes and wearing were cracked. At first, they weren't able to recognize him. He was none other than Adil the dead brother. His family was so happy to have him return after a shift of ten years. Lastly, it was found that the flower which was planted right in the middle of their backyard worth seventy pounds of pure gold. They sold it in traffic for sixty-six pounds of pure gold and live a comfortable life forever.
